This project was born thanks to of the analysis of recent trends in the hospitality industry, namely the raising concept of the “staycation,” Millennial travel, and the Regenerative stay. Using these three trends, and incorporating the brand Lomography as a basis of inspiration, we were able to materialize a project that represents the juxtaposition of classical versus modern forms, day versus night, and themes such as imperfection, filter, and hand made. These three themes were significative to us because they not only represented Lomography as a brand, but also represent our impression of where we think the hospitality industry will take us in the upcoming years, or even before that. Through the incorporations of various visual and physical elements in our project, such as the choice of paper, fonts, shapes, materials, colors, etc., we were able to achieve an optimal result that represents the combination of the contemporary brand of Lomography with the classical and traditional structure of Palazzo Visconti Venosta. We strived to embody an imperfect, yet curated vision for a point of hospitality that is a synthesis of our main themes and the core values of our client.
